What decisions will you make based on the findings? An in-depth needs assessment discussion will allow us to determine the optimal study methodology and research design for your custom project.
A collaborative effort will result in a survey instrument designed to capture data that is most relevant and specific to your organization's needs. We have developed literally thousands of questionnaires and if you have your own, we are happy to provide comments and suggestions based on our experience.
We will recommend sample design options that best fit your situation and, if needed, acquire sample lists (consumer or business). Establishing and meeting quotas to ensure proper representation of the population(s) being studied, and/or weighting the data if necessary, are standard practices.
Phone (TCPA compliant), online, social media, mail, or mixed mode - whatever works best for your situation and informational needs. You can rest easy knowing that we are up-to-date on the best practices for contacting respondents given government regulations.
For those who prefer to analyze the data themselves, we can provide cross-tabs with significance testing (t-tests, z-tests, chi-square, etc.) and/or raw data in Excel, SPSS or other preferred format. Other statistical analyses techniques are also available.
DATA ANALYSIS & REPORTING
Customized reporting in an easy-to-understand format that includes graphics to provide a visual presentation, along with an interpretive discussion of key findings. Our reports display results in a way that is most useful for you and your team.
We offer recruiting of the focus group participants, development of the discussion guide, an experienced moderator, transcripts, and summary reporting. We can also arrange the facility, video, and provide a hostess for the groups. So, we can do it all or handle just the elements you need.
OTHER QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
In-depth interviews, online blogs, community discussions, etc. Sometimes a quantitative study starts with a qualitative or exploratory phase. In addition, many of our quantitative studies include a “qualitative component” when needed, by asking open-ended questions where the responses are fully-probed and recorded in detail by interviewers. These comments can then be transcribed and provided in verbatim format to gain deeper insights and understandings.
