In 1970, Tom Wiese joined with Dr. Donald O. Clifton at then Selection Research, Inc. (now Gallup) and built its marketing research division from the ground up. Tom and a partner then purchased the Omaha office operation from SRI, and in 1983, the company was incorporated under its current name, Wiese Research Associates, Inc. We are still headquartered in Omaha, with central interviewing facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Tom has 40+ years of experience in marketing research and has personally been involved in the completion of over 3,000 studies, covering a wide range of industries and almost every imaginable type of project. This makes him a research “guru” in the minds of many long-standing clients. He is available to consult on all projects WRG completes.
Cathy has been with WRG for over 30 years. She consults with clients and performs functions related to study design, project management, survey development, focus group moderation, data analysis/reporting, and presentation of results. In addition to working directly with key clients as project director, she is responsible for managing WRG’s team of analysts and support staff. Cathy graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Drake University.
Rita has a superb ability to motivate those around her and to organize complex project workloads. She is one of those people who brings enthusiasm and a positive “can do” attitude to every challenge. Rita has been with WRG for 25+ years and is responsible for managing and coordinating all of WRG’s production functions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Mary has been with WRG nearly since its inception and during that time, has worn many different hats. Today, in addition to being responsible for the financials, she handles all of the human resources and personnel functions. Mary also assists with WRG’s sampling using a variety of state-of- the-art list sources.
Brigette has been with WRG for over 20 years and coordinates all data processing functions, including CATI scripting and testing, online survey programming and testing, data tabulation, statistical analyses, and also assists with report preparation and client service. She is as energetic as they come, and is capable of taking on any new software or data challenge. Brigette has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
John's responsibilities over the past 28+ years include managing WRG’s business-to-business custom prospect database compilation projects, IT management and support, acquiring/managing all B2B and client-provided research samples and databases, preparing report deliverables, and client service. John has a BS in Economics from Nebraska Wesleyan University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
